Kratom and chronic pain relief go hand in hand.
Kratom has been studied extensively dating back to the early 19th century.
For centuries in Southeast Asia this plant has been used by the working class to treat pain, anxiety, depression, and opioid withdrawal.
Chewing on the Kratom leaves was not uncommon. Depending on the strain the plant can provide a stimulating energy.
It is also known as Mitragyna Speciosa and it is part of the coffee family.
A large evergreen tree that can grow up to 100 feet tall and produce several pounds of powder from its leaves.
Please check out an article from the National Library of Medicine HERE. This article goes into more detail about the evolution of Kratom.

What Chemicals Are in Kratom To Help with Chronic Pain Relief?
Mitragynine is one of the main active ingredients in Kratom and helps activate the opioid receptors in your brain.
7-hydroxymitragynine is another powerful alkaloid in Kratom that has shown to provide amazing pain-relieving results.
This alkaloid has shown in studies to be more effective than Morphine without some of the negative effects Morphine comes with.
Respiration depression is a very common serious side effect when taking opiates.
Kratom fortunately does not have this side effect.

- Alabama
- Arkansas
- San Diego County California

- Indiana
- New Hampshire
- Wisconsin
Recently there have been other states such as Ohio and Georgia that have attempted to ban Kratom.

The unrelenting efforts of the AKA has truly been a blessing to the Kratom community.
Kratom is not regulated by the Federal Drug Administration.
Natural supplements are not currently regulated in the USA.
This by itself has caused a substantial amount of controversy.
There have been 0 reported deaths due to Kratom alone.
From 2015-2019 there were 15 deaths of people with Kratom in their system along with multiple other narcotics and illegal drugs.
The DEA had pushed for the substance to be illegal across the board in 2016 but decided to end that push with the major outcry from the public.
Please See a recent article published by Web MD HERE for additional information.
Is Kratom Addictive?
Is coffee addictive… Absolutely!
Is candy and sugar addictive? Studies have shown it no doubt is.

My search online for natural plant pain relievers pointed me to your website.
I truly did not know about the Indonesian Powerhouse Plant, Kratom and Chronic Pain Relief, until today!
I have used morphine as my premier pain reliever as it is the common drug in my locality. Though I have never been affected by it, I knew as I grew older it would give me the side effects I heard people talk about.
I started developing back problems which I have tried to control by regular exercise but I still needed reliable medicine.
I am glad to know that besides helping me with my short back pain episodes, Kratom and Chronic Pain Relief can also boost my cerebral oxygen, relax muscles and optimise my focus.
Thank you this helpful blog post.
We really appreciate the excellent well thought out comment Edgar.
It’s great that you found us.
Share this with any others you might think would benefit from taking kratom to alleviate chronic pain.

Wow! I am learning everyday. I have never heard of Kratom before. It looks like it is a phenomenal natural product. It is much more trustworthy and reliable when it comes to using natural plants to cure and treat pain or health in general. Very happy I have stumble upon this website.
Thank you!
Greetings – Interesting article on Kratom. I’m not a Kratom user and I don’[ know a lot about it but if it helps people and it isn’t being abused and causing harm, let it be! As far as being addictive, your point is well taken: there are lots of addictive things out there. Wisdom must be applied to all things.
Kratom doesn’t look bad at all. Actually, it is the first time I am hearing about this and this is because j have not had anyone who really needs to use any supplement for body pain but one of my aunt’s needs something now and I’m happy that this one is perfect and has been found to work for so many people. This is truly nice. I will get one myself.
Thanks a lot for such an amazing review about Kratom and explanation are given.
My back was aching and a friend told me to try Kratom. I searched all over the internet for information about Kratom, but I did not find much when I gave this article I found out everything I needed. It’s an article full of beneficial things about Kratom.
Thanks again for this post. If you don’t mind, I will share this article on my social media account. Happy New Year!
In truth, I have heard a lot about kratom but I never knew that it can cure so many illnesses as this and especially how much power it exact on chronic pains. Wow! However, it feels a bit saddening to see the big nations rather than supporting this kratom, they are closing it and banning it. That is really bad to know. However, if I were to see an opportunity to have my hands on this, I will gladly make use of it. Thanks so much
We all know the side affects and danger of taking pain killers. It is always advisable to go with the natural methods for chronic pain. I do have heard and read about Kratom but your article provided me with helpful and detailed information about it and thanks a lot for the write up.
It’s great news to know that Kratom don’t have any side effects caused by opiates. I am amazed at the benefits of Kratom and the big list of pain relief it can provide. It’s encouraging to know that 3-5 million people use this supplement every day. For sure this is on my list.
I am always on the look out for natural remedies to issues that are normally only treatable with the standard over the counter medicines, most of which only have a limited effect. There is far more available nowadays if we know where to look. I am certainly glad I found your site.
Having suffered from intermittent bouts of sciatica for many years, I have struggled to find suitable medication as the pain is of a ‘nerve’ nature, which is one of the most difficult to ease. I have always been open to the idea of plant based medicines and I think that can help, with their ability to work as well as they do. The fact that Kratom is 100% natural is an added bonus. Side effects are common place in many prescribed drugs. It is a huge benefit to know that there are non of these present with Kratom.
HI Twack,
Severe side effects are not common among those not mixing medications.
Please be aware that there still are side effects.
Please see all of the side effects HERE.
Most are extremely rare but it is important to us to know all of the potential side effects.

Amazing product! I just heard about Kratom products today. And I think this product, can be an option for dealing with chronic pain. Because often I use prescription products to treat pain in the neck. Though there are natural products to deal with this pain.
However, I am still curious about this product. With what dose of use of this product cause addictive?
Thanks
Hi Kylie,
Great question.
It is a difficult one though.
As anything such as coffee and sugar they can be addicting.
There is no set amount but being responsible and going by our general dosage guide HERE you can learn what is standard and when you are taking too much.
Hope the link in this comment helps.

Hi, it is impressive to see a 100 natural method to treat this illness for people. So it actually is effective in treating anxiety and depression as well as many other things. I do not understand why that would be a bad thing. Especially making it illegal in certain states. Why do you think that is? Probably the pharmaceutical companies pushing their weight around. Nothing new there.
Hey Jake.
Great question and one that has been asked by so many.
It is not our job to speculate but we do feel that it is better as a legal all natural regulated supplement than for it to be illegal in certain places and on the black market.
We are always pushing for extraordinary stories and life changing experiences to be shared on our Facebook page HERE.
We love stories by email as well. 🙂

This is not yet popular here in the Philippines, if it weren’t for a friend who has worked in other countries, I wouldn’t have known this health solution. I am suffering from Chronic migraines due to eye strain and she told me I should try this as a pain reliever but unfortunately, I didn’t see migraine in the list of pains Kratom cures. Will this be also good for relieving migraines?
We appreciate the time taken to leave us a comment.
Customers have used this for migraines and have reported relief.
Everyone is different.

Hi there
Thanks for your article about Kratom and its pain relief benefits. For someone to be a responsible consumer, one would want to see a few articles from medical journals on the efficacy of the drug. I see there are one or two articles, but they don’t have enough research completed to give a decent background.
Could you please explain how people use Kratom to overcome opiate addiction?
Do you know of any people that have tried it to get over alcoholism?
I think this plant and your product sounds really fantastic, and I’m glad you’ve added a warning. People can be really irresponsible sometimes. The potential to assist people with fibromialgua is massive, as that is often linked to depression.
Thanks for the info.
Sam
Sam we appreciate you and the thoughtful comment left.
Unfortunately people can tend to be irresponsible with Kratom as with most things that are good.
Too much of a good thing can end up badly.
There is not a lot of scientific research on Kratom because it is an all natural supplement.
We wish there was more but there is not any government funding for researching supplements.
Due to regulation in some states and even bans hopefully this initiates research by the government to determine an objective stance on the plant.
Only time will tell.

This sounds like an amazing alternative to other possible dangerous narcotics. I live in Wisconsin so I would assume I would be unable to use this. How does a person go about obtaining Keaton? How much does it cost and how long is it effective for once taken? Do you take it in an oral dose or simply chew on a leaf? Thanks for your help.
Michelle
Hi Michelle,
Happy to see your excited about Kratom and its benefits.
So are we here at My Kratom Club!
Unfortunately Wisconsin is one of the states in where Kratom is currently banned.
Check out the information below:
Wisconsin—Banned. Kratom Consumer Protection Act Filing Pending.Wisconsin classified the primary alkaloids in Kratom, mitragynine and 7-OH (hydroxymitragynine), as Schedule I (Wis. Stat. § 961.14), effectively banning Kratom in the state of Wisconsin. Advocacy and education efforts are underway with the regulators and legislators of jurisdiction.
Hopefully legislation will change in the future as the American Kratom Association is always fighting to legalize, regulate, and decriminalize this amazing supplement.
As far as the effectiveness of Kratom and duration it really depends on the brand, strain, and many other physical attributes of that person.
Take a look at our general Dosage Guide HERE for more information on dosage.
Chewing on a leaf was the way it has been used in Southeast Asia for the last 200 years.
Many citizens still chew on the leaves but it is less common with the amount of farmers in Southeast Asia producing the powder.
Finally you can purchase Kratom at local stores, online stores, and even directly from Indonesia.
We do not recommend ordering directly from Indonesia.
It is important to buy name brand Kratom with the ingredients on the bottle and a company with a solid history in the industry.
Take a look HERE for an article we wrote on buying kratom safely.
Hope this information helps.
Shoot us an email info@mykratomclub.com if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for this great information on Kratom! I had heard of Kratom before but didn’t really know what it was or what it is used for. You’ve presented some very good information here and really peaked my interest of Kratom, especially as an anxiety reliever! I find it interesting that something from the same family as coffee could also relieve anxiety. That is intriguing that it is so controversial, when in reality, it doesn’t seem much different from many other products already on the market. Once again, thanks for the awesome article.
You are very welcome Anna.
Happy that you took something away from this article.
We hope that more people learn about this amazing supplement that does come from the coffee family.

I haven`t tried Kratom myself but I do really believe on natural or herbal remedies. My generations used most of there life using natual medications. That is why I realy want to try this product myself. The product itself can help me with most of what I am suffering now.
That is great that you came across our website and our brand new to this supplement.
If you take a look at our blog HERE you can find out even more information about Kratom.

I am one of the lucky people who found My Kratom Club. I like the detailed description of each product offered. The prices are very reasonable, and free shipping is a bonus not to be missed. A lot of people are turning to natural methods to relieve chronic illnesses and pain. This has lead to high demand of kratom products, and some suppliers are now increasing the prices, something I find to be unfair as those who really need these products may not afford to buy them.
Hi Sandikazi,
Thank you for the compliments.
We take pride in providing a less expensive and more private place to offer supplements.
The detailed information for each product description allows others to really know what each product is best for.

This article answers a question I had about Kratom. Is it a pain killer. I have pretty severe arthritic pain in my feet and have been looking for something more effective that Advil. I understand why some states have banned Kratom if it is not regulated by the FDA. Is it easy to buy in the U.S. You information on whether or not it is addictive seems to say that if you get used to Kratom, you will continue to want to use it. I am much more interested in the pain relief properties of Kratom than any of the other benefits. Thanks for this new article.
Anastazja
Just like coffee people can become dependent on the supplement if it helps them throughout the day and/or makes there day a whole lot better.
Which is the case for our customers.
The FDA does not regulate any natural supplements.
The ban on Kratom has to do more with state laws and politics than the FDA.

Thanks for this great review about the kratom drug, I used kratom some years ago for my kids and it’s really did worked on then I stopped because I heard it’s addictive , but really it was very effective and then it makes my kid calm and stopped them from crying unnecessarily then, but i know the content of kratom now it’s very good to use and am getting it soon again .
Appreciate the comment Gracie.
Always nice to read about another Kratom success story. 🙂

Hey thank you for the awesome post about Kratom. I’ll admit that I had some doubts over Kratom at first because of it’s legal status in some states (luckily mine not being one). I’m glad you were able to clear up some of those doubts. Do you think that it will become legal again in some of those states any time soon?
Great question Jessie.
Happy some of your doubts have been remedied.
As far as legislation in several states around the country it seems to be improving.
The AKA (American Kratom Association) has a big part in helping to change state laws.
The AKA is also big on regulation of Kratom products with new state laws and ordinances.
We have a great article on Kratom and it’s legal status HERE.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

I want to try Kratom now. I have chronic lower back pain, chronic headaches, anxiety and depression so I’m intrigued by the idea that Kratom could help me. I already drink coffee every day so I’m not concerned about Kratom being addictive (especially if it is in the same family as coffee). What is the best way to take it? I’m wondering if chewing the leaves works or if it is wiser to buy a concentrate or extract or what? Thank you.
Happy to see that you are considering an all natural way to help with your ailments.
Based on our customer feedback the best way to produce the best results would be to drink the powder.
Kratom is bitter so it is best to drink it with a fruity drink to mask the taste.
Using an extract is more for experienced users as it is very potent.
Just a heads up.
Kratom can be addicting such as coffee is needed for many to get their day started.
We always recommend consulting a physician prior to use.
Take a look at our dosage guide HERE.

I have been using Kratom for nerve pain in my neck for about a year. The pain is severe at times but the Kratom always works to take it away for a few hours. I appreciate anyone trying to share the truth about this and other natural plant medicines. I have used cannabis for this pain as well, but I have found nothing that works on the pain like Kratom does. Honestly, I think it enhances the pain-relieving effects of the cannabis. I have found that it matters what strain I use. The Malaysian Maeng Da strain can be used for energy and is very effective for pain, but it gave me a jittery “speedy” feeling that I found unpleasant. I currently use the Bali strain. One 600 mg capsule is usually enough to keep the pain away for a few hours so I can get some work done and be productive in my day. Thanks for the article. We all have to fight to preserve our health care freedoms. There is a lot of money on the other side. I am also growing my own Kratom plants here in AZ and they are doing very well!
Lois it is great to read about your life changing experience with Kratom.

Hi,
Chronic pain is a common issue nowadays. After reading your article, I have learned all the necessary information about Kratom and Chronic pain relief. I would not even know such information if I did not read your article. What I love most about this article is pain relief in a natural way. My mother is suffering from back pain and hip pain for a long time. I believe that this article will help her to apply those natural methods. I am going to check the necessary supplement for this. I have to bookmark your site in my favorite section for further study. Thank you for writing this helpful tips.
Hi Mzakapon and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. It’s great to read that Kratom might be able to really help your mother. Our site continues to add new information about Kratom. Please take a look at our dosage guide HERE which gives a good general overview of the proper dosage of Kratom.
First I have heard of this product Kratom, so I read your article with interest. It is obviously a good alternative to prescription pain medication, especially morphine based, and I am so glad it is helping so many people, (read their testimonies) and followed your links.
I’m glad you mentioned see your Doctor as I feel it and dosage, must be taken with the consideration of other medications that a person considering buying Kratom is already taking.
The fact that this product is banned in some States of the US and overseas, is a concern and I do hope that positive results from research into Kratom allows those who are most in need, due to chronic pain, etc.can buy this product easily.
Thank you
Michele
Michelle, your well thought out comments are very much appreciated. Kratom has been shown to be an all natural alternative to morphine and other opiates.
Studies are continuing to be conducted to prove Kratom is safe if taken in the right dosage and responsibly. Consumers due abuse this substance and Kratom becomes the villain.
Hopefully in time this supplement will be fully understood by the public and community.

The web site is very well set up. I like the graphics and the information you have to offer. You have covered the legal aspects of the product but I cannot seem to find some of the detailed information on the side effects and whether it is addictive. It would be helpful to learn more about the safety of the product. Since I was a pharmaceutical chemist that worked at pharmaceutical companies for over 45 years, this is important to keep within guidelines. I do like the site and will be bookmarking it to see any followup.
These days it is advisable to go for natural medicine. interesting to know that Kratom is a natural remedy for pain relief, anxiety, depression, helps to increase blood flow etc. I normally use Olfen gell for pain relief which is very good. For the past few years, I have not experienced any side effect of Olfen. With a good review of kratom, I will advise that it should be taken with caution.
Though Kratom has been banned in some countries like Thailand and Malaysia due to its addictive potential and some chemicals found in kratom may cause dangerous interactions with other drugs.
People need to take precaution when taken in combination with other drugs and dosage should also be considered because of its side effects which include sweating, constipation, nausea and vomiting, dizziness etc.
I found this so interesting to read as my sister suffers with Fribomyalgia for many years now and takes pain medication which have terrible side effects.
It is interesting to read about this natural treatment which may be something she could try, as I believe natural is often the best.
Do you know if it available outside the US?
Thanks for this information.

The article you wrote on Kratom was great. I was very encouraged to know about this. I am a freelancer and for this reason, I have to sit and sit often. By doing this my back pain was increasing day by days. Then once I started using Kratom and finally I think now I feel better than previous. It is safe and quite natural. I don’t think that it is detrimental to me. Kratom has a lot of beneficiary sides.
Overall, thank you so much for your article.
Tushar:)
I have never heard of this product. But I am fully aware that there are a lot of natural remedies out there that is much better than a lot of prescription drugs. The FDA band a lot of these drugs because they know very little about them. Unfortunately here in the states, the establishment relies more on the science of the medicine more than the natural use and its positive effects.
I find that other cultures rely on natural meds and are a lot healthier than kids growing up in this country. For example, I’m from Trinidad we were given a lot of herbal teas while growing up. I could count on one hand how many times I was out of school for being sick. My daughter, on the other hand, was out of school with strep throat, the flue or countless other ailments. Thank you, for the information. I would definitely check it out.
Thank you so much Cheryl for taking the time to share a bit about your childhood. Kratom is a blessing for many.

Hi, this has got me quite intrigued and interested. It is the first time I have heard about Karatom. The reasons for my interest is because I do suffer from back pin, depression and anxiety.
I always promote the natural product. As with everything, being responsible with how you take anything is key. I do take cannabis and it has helped me.
Karatom from what I understand is illegal in Canada and it’s where I live. This does not stop my interest. The concerns I have are, has it become a recreational drug? Is it addictive as stated, and does it have withdrawal symptoms. I find the fact that it may be sold in a gas station, or a tobacco store interesting. Is it available in any Natural Health food stores. I just checked Amazon and found they sell a form of it. Would you deliver to Ontario, Canada.
I do believe Mother Nature, has the best sources to treatment to a majority of cures to most ailments. I kind of relate this to cannabis, however I do believe it is a significantly more potent. The pharmaceutical companies have so much money they have attained through their experiments on human’s with their drugs. Most of us spend ridiculous amounts of money because of acceptability.
I have had no experience with Karatom, that is only temporary. I have bookmarked your page.
I thank you for going the natural way and I hope my comments were not taken negatively.
Thank you,
Michael/lesabre
Hi,
Thank you so much for sharing such an informative article with all the necessary information about “Kratom and Chronic Pain Relief – An Indonesian Powerhouse Plant”
Really this is an awesome article.I didn’t have any idea about it.After reading your article I have learned about this and understand that it is an amazing product for pain relief. It has many kinds of benefits and advantages.I want to buy one for my father.I like this article very much.I have gained all the thorough details about this.I hope this will be very much helpful for the people.I will share this great article with my friends and relatives so that they can benefited from this.
I’m into my mid 50s, aches and pains are all over. Kratom sounds like a lifesaver. I really like the fact that it is natural. Although it is addictive, one would just have to take it only when needed. My daughter has to take morphine Once in a while, it would be good to be able to replace it with Kratom.
It is really astonishing that the provinces of developed country banned such beneficial medicine. I’ve already heard about Kratom. I didn’t know it cures so many diseases besides pain, anxiety, and depression as well. Truly, Kratom’s has plenty of medicinal properties. However, it is necessary to take in a proper level. Thanks to the author for such a valuable and informative review.
